And I beloved Halloween!
Ghosts inwards the Graveyard--a Halloween Photo Shoot!

The kickoff matter nosotros did was stimulate got 376 pictures.

Well, lets dorsum up.  I told my kids what I wanted to do.
Surprisingly, they were all on board!  Even the iv yr old!  Yay!

So nosotros dressed them up.  I picked church building clothes that looked the most old-timey.
And the boys wore some bow ties that I hot glued together.
The boys had vests...the daughter had an quondam schoolhouse clothing together with night grayness tights.
Pretty plain.

Then nosotros works life some accessories.
Old keys, a vintage pocketwatch together with a lacy parasol.

Then nosotros trekked simply about our neighborhood...with me inwards a hoodie together with yoga pants...
looking for swell picturesque places...and the little cemetery a mile
across the route from us.  (yes, nosotros walked...we are a 1 auto household)

Then I would stimulate got pictures alongside my kids inwards them...
then they would come upwards stand upwards past times me together with I would stimulate got a few of simply the background.
The best component almost this photoshoot is that I didn't ask all
my kids to smiling at the same time!  :)
I simply told them to await sort of sad...and nosotros got some swell shots!

Now, I am a photoshop girl.  I've used it since high school...
I mean value that's when the cavemen kickoff invented photoshop for pc's.  Anyways.

I decided to displace out pixlr...and I beloved it!
It's free...so super bonus there!
And it navigates basically the same equally photoshop,
so it didn't stimulate got me long to figure things out.
So, if you've e'er wanted a swell photograph editing program--try this!

I loaded inwards ii pictures.  One alongside my children inwards it...and i of the patently background!

The edits hither are super simple!  But that's perfect, anyone tin laissez passer the axe create it!
Here's what I did.

Open upwards both pictures inwards pixlr.

Then re-create the motion painting alongside the people together with paste it correct over the transcend of the patently background picture.

You stimulate got ii layers now.  Then on the transcend layer (the i alongside the people)
select that tiny carrot: Toggle Layer Settings

It volition convey upwards the OPACITY bar.  This is the fun part.
Just utilisation the slider to brand the people appear ghost-like!
Every motion painting is different.  Some I took the opacity to 60% some exclusively 73%...

Then yous desire to await at the layers together with brand certain they business upwards equally skilful equally they can.
Not e'er super perfect, but it gives it a vintage double exposed sort of feel!

Then I Desaturated the images...
You tin laissez passer the axe also create sepia tones or quondam photograph effects.

And again.  2 photos.
Paste.  Opacity.

desaturate.  sepia...photo effects...

We altered tons of pictures!  We had them printed inwards 1 hr at Walmart,
made cards for identify unit of measurement together with friends together with wall decor for the entry way!

It helps if yous stimulate got some ornate vintage frames...kind of spooky!
I
realize this would live on real disturbing if whatever of my children ever die...
but for now, it's a swell Halloween addition!

Thanks for viewing!
