DIY Portal Gun!
About iv months ago, my boy asked me to brand him a portal gun.
I looked it upwardly as well as saw this:

So, it felt a footling overwhelming at first.
Then I walked through the dollar store as well as industrial plant life the perfect pieces to brand this!

I used a waste product handbasket as well as a chubby wiffle bat!

Cut the handbasket amongst a hobby knife
cutting footling bits at a fourth dimension until it fits some the bat.

Then purpose E6000 gum as well as gum the bat within the basket.

Let it dry out completely.

Then add together a curlicue of the waste product handbasket to the other end.
I tacked it inwards house amongst a duo of real small-scale screws.
Next, dark pipecleaners as well as a small-scale drill bit.

Drill holes as well as thread the pipage cleaners through.

Twist them some to expect similar wires as well as pincers.

I had my silhouette Cameo cutting out the Aperture Science logo
as well as weeded the vinyl.

I lightly sanded the waste product handbasket to brand the vinyl adhere a footling better.
Then peeled off the transfer tape.
Perfect!

Then I wanted to add together a footling glowing bluish rod.
So I drilled a duo holes as well as threaded the pipage cleaners through them as well as tied a glow stick on top.

I honey it!
Most importantly, my boy loves it!
We used it equally a fundamental ornament at the Portal Party, merely directly it's his toy.

It's awesome to get got $3.88 as well as instruct inwards into a fantastic geekery game prop!

This would live non bad for cosplay, costumes, Halloween,
or other geekery!

Come dorsum for to a greater extent than Portal week, parties as well as ideas!
