I cutting out a tree blueprint in addition to pinned it to the felt.
Then I right away stitched roughly the tree.
I didn't run upwards the paper...just used it equally a guide.

Like so, leaving an opening inwards the bottom for the trunk.

Cut it amongst close a 1/4" border.

Hot glued a dark-brown felt piece...

And slipped it within in addition to glued it shut.
Then I handed the tree over to my (then 8 twelvemonth old) daughter...
in addition to she did all the magic!
She cutting out 25 dissimilar shapes!

One for every twenty-four hours of Dec leading upwards to Christmas!
She is thence clever in addition to fun!

We used some velcro in addition to hung it upwards on the wall for decor.
You could add together a felt envelope on the dorsum of the tree for ornamentation storage!
