The Pandorica Opens! Exploding Tardis Painted Purse!

 The Pandorica Opens!
Exploding Tardis Painted Purse!

 Here's the blah tiresome before:

And the after, inwards all it's exploding glory!

 First...here's about backstory.
We did a homeschool shape for art.
We studied close Vincent Van Gogh.  We studied close his life as well as tragic death.
Then nosotros looked at all his famous paintings.
Next nosotros watched "Vincent as well as Amy" as well as "The Pandorica Opens"
And thence the epitome began.

Here's the reference from "The Pandorica Opens"

My kids painted these!
It was fun for them to seek to pigment alongside daubs instead of long smoothen strokes.
And I was jealous I didn't teach to pigment one...

 So it was my turn.
When I establish this former dark purse, I knew it was the perfect canvas!
I used chalk to sketch on my lines...they rub off later...

I too used stuff ink paint.
It dries soft.

Mixing cyan as well as a dot of magenta makes the perfect Tardis Blue!

 Ready, set, go!

I painted the blue, thence permit it dry.
(It's non crude oil paints, remember...)

 Then the yellow!

 Then permit it dry...

 Looks similar an exploding chicken!

 Then added orange...

And white...letting it dry out again!

Then went inwards as well as added dark lines,
the windows, as well as about dark spots...

Let it dry, as well as I am completely satisfied!

I sprayed it alongside a trivial clear matte finish.
Ta Da!

 I dearest it!
Way steps upwards a uncomplicated dark purse!

I dearest geeking out tiresome items!

Check out these awesome Whovian heels!

Damask Clay Pendants! #Tbt

Damask Clay Pendants! #Tbt

 Damask Polymer Clay Pendants!

It's tardily to brand these colorful pendants!

When all was said as well as done...I liked the damask ones the BEST!

You only demand oven bake clay, similar this white sculpey.
Some safe stamps...and paint!

Soften as well as curl out roughly clay well-nigh 1/4" thick.

Stamp an impression on the clay

Use a cookie cutter to cutting the clay

Add a necklace hole amongst a straw

Place on a tray as well as bake according to packet directions.
(I did it xv minutes at 275* F)

Now it is fourth dimension to paint!
Start past times giving each pendant a base of operations coat...and allow it dry.

Now, add together roughly other colors...

Dab roughly other color on it as well as larn downwards inward all the cracks.

Just over role of the pendant.

Then utilization a damp textile as well as wipe off the spill out surface of the paint.

Add on roughly to a greater extent than paint, inward roughly other color!

 Wipe again.

 Keep it similar this...

Or continue wiping as well as the pigment on the highest surface will
wipe off as well as demo the white clay again!

Repeat again---for a stunning form of necktie dye effect!

These are gorgeous as well as would brand dandy ornaments too!

Add a chain, cord or whatsoever to brand a stunning necklace!
