Stencil together with Stain furniture!

The redeeming characteristic is that they were REAL wood...

I am too inexpensive to purchase a $40-50 stencil for a projection I am going to utilization once...

I inserted my thick plastic correct into my silhouette cameo.
Once I tweaked the quatrefoil background I wanted...I had the cameo "cut" it.
This plastic is much too thick to convey the cameo cutting it out though.
It did score the lines though...and that's what I wanted!
Then I spent hours cutting it out.
Yeah, it was like shooting fish in a barrel going...but my boy together with I listened to some of the Hobbit on cd,
therefore that was fun.

I used a parisian slightly off-white pigment that I

equally good I had run out of white paint! But it needed it, therefore I got out some
acrylic pigment together with did it.
Not a perfect pigment match, but closed enough.

Oh, ya, painted the within of the drawers too!
And used upwards all my aqua pigment equally well!
Next twenty-four hr menstruum was the fun!
Staining!
I used black walnut stain. I wanted it dark...so I painted it on alongside a
paintbrush together with and therefore rubbed off the excess alongside an former rag.
Repeated over all the surfaces. I honey how it makes the stencil popular out!
Gives it a rich look!
Once the staining was done...the knobs together with handles needed replacing.
I had a ton of random knobs I got at a yard sale...none match.
together with they were gold.
I simply sprayed them all brassy copper together with they tally perfectly now!
See how perfectly they run alongside the stained wood?
